Spring and Summer Men’s Fashion 2012
What is the men’s fashion look for spring summer 2012? What are the trends and what can we expect to see in the stores and streets? If we go by the fashion trends of the big designers as Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana, Giorgio Armani, Prada, Roberto Cavalli, Missoni, we can conclude that it is going to be interesting and divers. In one word we can characterize the men’s look for this season as ‘masculine’ and minimalistic. We will discuss a few key trends for men’s fashion spring/summer 2012.
It is a fact that men nowadays have accepted color in their wardrobe and you can notice that color has a key factor in this season and in men’s wardrobe. There is one color that splashes out in 2012 and that is blue. In every big fashion show, the designers used the color blue in their men’s wardrobe. We can define the color blue as multidimensional and above all ‘cool’. It can refer as a statement but this color can also be integrated in all fashion types and looks. For example we see blue suits in different shades of blue. The multidimensional aspect of this color means also that it is easy to combine with other colors: pastel, red, yellow, black and natural tones. Not only can the color blue be used in wardrobe, but men can also make a statement with an accessory. For example you can use a blue scarf or a blue mens bracelet. This can be presented as an color accent in your wardrobe or it can bring out the other blue lines in your look.
The best conclusion we can make for the color blue is that this color can offer ‘something’ to ‘everyone’. If you want to make a statement with a color or just want to use color but in a toned way.

- Urban and cool sunglasses
- Leather or stainless steel mens bracelets
- The purse!!
When we discuss the trends that were visible in the big designer fashion shows, we can say that it was overall clear that minimalistic but colorful look dominated. These looks were still shown in fabulous various styles, exquisite tailoring, funky summer accessories and mixing and matching with different items and luxurious fabric.
